Food Manufactures Are Deadly
When was the last time you consumed Genetically Modified foods? Us humans consume Genetically Modified Organisms on a daily basis without knowing. Genetically Modified foods are everywhere due to the increase of the population. The population has increased dramatically, this means we need to produce more food in order to feed everyone. In the United States, Genetically Modified Organisms are in over eighty percent of our food. GMOs or Genetically Modified Organisms plants or animals are created through the gene splicing techniques of biotechnology. Biotechnology is also known as Genetic Engineering (GE). Food manufacturers have a massive impact on animals, plants and human health.

In the article “Harmful Effects Of Genetically Modified Foods” written by Nathan Batalion a researcher analyzes the harm of genetically modified foods. According to Nathan, “Genetically Modified foods that have been considered “safe” by the government” (Batalion,1). Introducing a new gene into a plant or animals can have serious health effects. According, to published studies food manufactures are the root cause of “disruption of hormonal systems and gut bacteria damage to DNA, development and reproductive toxicity, birth defects, cancer, and neurotoxicity” (Batalion, 6). Inserting an unknown gene into a plant or animal can be unhealthy for humans. The purpose of food manufactures is to to help, but instead they are the main cause of our health problems. Research studies have revealed the negative impacts of Genetically Modified foods on humans. Genetically Modified products have been developed with resistance to herbicides that are commonly known carcinogens. The main ingredient in GMOs is Glyphosate and POEA these ingredients extremely dangerous because, they are cancerous. Cancer was rare until recent times when chemicals were introduced into our food supply. One out two men and one out of three women are diagnosed with cancer on a daily basis. Cancer rates have increased to more than triple. Throughout the twenty century cancer has been the root cause of deaths. Individuals need to open their eyes and realize what they are consuming has a negative impact on their health. These diseases can be stopped, if we stop consuming genetically modified food. The food that is being produced is not natural our food looses diversity. Organic food is the only food that is natural and is traditionally farmed. A study in the Journal of Medical Food revealed that “certain genetically modified foods have lower levels of viral nutrients” (Batalion,8). Our body is not able to protect us

GMOs Destructive Footprint in the U.S Over the years the American diet has adopted genetically modified ingredients for good and for bad. Although genetically modified ingredients give producers a faster turn out rate for the product, the cost to American consumers could cause far more complications in the future. Not only do genetically modified ingredients provoke allergic reactions, gene transfer, and outcrossing, but it also causes various other damages to the environment. Genetically modified ingredients not only hurt the human body, but hurt the environment and animals that are being injected with hormones and pesticides.…

It has been a constant focus of many throughout history because one’s level of health has the ability to influence every aspect of someone’s life. As foods began to be further studied and the technology to do so became available, it became known that without nutritious foods, an unhealthy lifestyle will be the result. Once genetically modified foods were introduced in order to help the fight against hunger and help the nation’s economy, the nutrition that came along with them and the good they did for society was questioned. No one can agree on the safety of the products because tests have been done yielding results that support each side. In the economic world, GM foods have been shown to produce more, resulting in more revenue, but also hurt the smaller food suppliers that grow the natural crops that are purchased today.…

Some people have criticized GMO food’s to be unhealthy for our bodies. There have been claims that GMO’s has been one of the leading causes for obesity as well as causes for cancer. Claims also include that GMO’s would cause our bodies to change and become mutants, and these mutations would be passed on to our children (Sidyelyeva, Galyna 2010). There have been experiments to test the claims that have arose around GMO’s. Test the theory that GMO food cause cancer, and experiment with rats have been placed.…

Nullifying GMOs, not a big deal As we head deeper into the 21st century, new scientific discoveries are being build as the foundation for humanity. Genetic modification is one of the foundations that might crumple and collapse because of the dangers of genetically modified products. Genetically modified products are one of the minor issues that countries discuss and take action. In the United States, genetically modified food products are favored by the majority of the public, but some people have argued that the process of genetically modifying products is dangerous and can cause harm in humans if any mistakes in modifying is made. If all the reasons against GMOs are true, then taking all genetically modified products…

The FDA and the World Health Organization both agree that there is no proof that GMO foods are a greater risk to humans than normal, unmodified foods (Chrispeels, 2014). There is strong scientific evidence that these foods are safe. A recent animal feeding study showed no difference in nutrition between GM or non-GM foods. It can even be said that no documented negative health effects have been linked to genetic engineering in human populations (Novella, 2014). There also has been no scientific evidence that this technology would cause super weeds to be created (Boyer, 2004).…

Do The Pros of GMO’s outweigh the Cons? Since the introduction on the genetically modified organism in the mid to late 1990’s many people have debated on their economic and environmental impact, as well as their safety for human consumption. Many companies like Monsanto and Dow Agro-science that produce these bioengineered foods have conducted research on the topics of environmental and economic benefits as well as the safety of GMO foods. The results of the studies conclude that genetically modified foods are safe, economically beneficial, environmentally sensible, and have no danger to the people that consume them.…

Studies show that GM food can leave material behind inside people. These may cause long term problems. As an example, genes inserted into GM soy can transfer into the DNA of bacteria that are living inside of people. After GMOs were introduced in 1996, many health problems had increased. “The percentage of Americans with three or more chronic illnesses jumped from 7% to 13%...” (10).…

Genetically Modified Organisms, also known as GMOs, are living organisms whose genetic DNA has been artificially altered. Genetically modified foods are found all around including in the household, supermarkets, as well as in fast food restaurants. For example, the fresh beef patties that Wendy’s advertises for their burgers are processed. This means that they have been modified from their original state which makes it artificial beef. Most companies have denied labeling GMOs so that people know what their consuming, because of the consequences they will face.…

These poisons are to prevent farmers from having to cut weeds and kill insects that try to destroy the crops. If these poisons are strong enough to kill weeds and insects, then they are strong enough to make the animals humans consume sick and contaminate them. The animals that the human population consumes has digested these horrible poisons.…

Farmers have been leaders in food for centuries. Without the production of agriculture, people would have ceased to exist. The food that farmers produce is heavily based on the geographical area they occupy. For example, farmers in Asia produce rice, farmers in South America produce coffee, and farmers in Idaho produce potatoes. Farming and agriculture brought man out of the age of hunting and gathering, and allowed civilizations to flourish because they no longer had to move around constantly and gather berries and fruits.…
