Food labels are everywhere and the best way to stay healthy is to look at the label first because no one else is going to do it for you. The average american should consume around 2,500 calories a day to maintain their weight level, but to lose weight around 1,900-2,000 calories daily should cause slight weight loss(“Wrong…”).
Economic freedom allows you to buy all the snack foods you desire without a single care, but you should care because all of the amounts of sugar be contained within the foods you consume. Too much sugar causes the human body to overproduce insulin which can lead to Type 2 Diabetes(“Disaster…”). Excessive amounts of sugars in the body can also cause the brain to overlook the amounts of Leptin in the blood(“Disaster…”). Leptin is contained within the fat cells of the body

Not enough daily exercise to burn the extra calories we eat in a day just allows those calories to brew into fat cells. Automatic doors, elevators, washing machines, and computers are just a slim few of many of the modern technologies that are available to use daily. The use of these items doesn’t help your body. It may seem easier to use these items but the downfall of their use is making people very lazy and people who become lazy will not put forth the needed effort to live a healthy lifestyle.
Very few Americans today are doing what they should to maintain a healthy lifestyle. 71% on Americans adults say that today they have began to eat healthier than they were 3 years ago. What they are not thinking about is even though they eat healthier meals, how many of those meals are they eating a day? Americans are just now noticing their problem and choosing to eat healthier, but its a little too late for some people to start a healthy lifestyle now. 90% of consumers are eating and drinking lighter versions of their favorite foods on a regular basis then they were five years
