I am simply disgusted and also rather horrified by the film Food Inc. I have some prior awareness regarding the current foundation of the food system and the farming prior to the film such as how it’s really just a large web of vendors, sources, and locations. The food system to my knowledge before watching this movie was that it was a massive factor of the 21st century for both the consumer and also the producer. It is fair to say that the food system is a large industry, given that there are millions of people in Irvine alone it seems like. This demand for food requires an advanced system to supply such a large demand. The food systen has adopted such an advanced system this includes exploiting and abusing it against Mother Nature her self, and all she has encompassed an intended to provide for our species.
The exploitation includes absurd and pitiful animal cruelty, unfair an illegal worker and farmer contracts. These factors are what it takes to make Vass food availability. Ultimately making this horrific system possible. …show more content…
The movie Food Inc. was simply put terrifying more so then anything because how many people don’t know about the process. Furthermore how powerless it seems we are in trying to make changes for the better. The improvements we should make in our diet as a nation it seems are only a minor problem with the food system, despite the need for overhaul entirely. The food system as a whole is something I wish were only true in a blockbuster horror film, rather than a reality that seems more reluctant to change then
