Your round ligaments start to feel the stress of your growing uterus and cause sharp pain in your lower abdomen as well as the hip area. Such aches are quite common at this stage of pregnancy and they last only for a couple of seconds.
The inner temperature of your body is increasing and as a result you will feel sweatier than before.
Many pregnant women are said to have developed urinary tract infections and heartburn during this stage of pregnancy.

At the beginning of week 19, your baby is over 6 inches long. She is now as big as an apple and weighs about 200 to 240 grams. She undergoes rapid sensory development during the week.
Her brain allocates special areas for each of the five senses: Vision, smell, taste, hearing and touch.
Your baby grows and gains strength with each passing day and starts making more frequent and powerful movements within your womb.

Food and nutrition during week 19
An essential item to be included in the diet of week 19 is calcium. From this period onwards, calcium starts getting deposited in your baby’s bones and that means you need to consume sufficient amounts of calcium. Include milk, curd and other dairy products to your diet. Fishes with edible bones, almonds and leafy vegetables also serve as excellent sources of calcium.
