Uncle John
He lived in the morning sunlight
And marched in the ranks of right,
He was always true
To the best he knew

We shared a number of interests together that made our relationship grow and strengthen to a lifelong friendship. He was an influence on me with things such as simple fun, similar interests, and his work and career. John had special qualities that would make me feel good about who I am as an individual, which I will never forget. Whenever Uncle John had a spare moment, he would grab and tickle me, my sisters, and cousins. I would laugh uncontrollably and John would just be smiling and laughing like he was

It made me feel like that what I was doing with my animals was important, because similarly, he loved animals and enjoyed being surrounded by them. Probably, one of John’s best friends was his good old border collie, Buddy. Anywhere John was Buddy was there also. They loved playing fetch together. John raised a couple of horses and tried so hard to breed one of his mares, named Princess. Occasionally, Princess would have a miscarriage or even have a foal that would unfortunately live for less than twenty–four hours. John showed so much care and love for his animals despite disappointment. He raised turkeys, chickens, and kittens. He also raised cattle to supplement his
