Folkway Violation Research Paper

The folkway violation that I chose to do is to interrupt people's conversations. I wanted to see how people would react and what would they say and or do. I did this to a couple then I did this to a group of sophomores to see their reactions. Then I did it to grown ups A reason why I chose to do it in the library is that there is always people in there. Another reason I chose to do the social experiment in the cafeteria is because there are many varieties of age group

I performed this folkway violation on on 10/12/16, in the media center after school. Tommy nguyen was the one who observed the social experiment on wednesday when I went up to the group of teenagers in the media center. They completely ignored/ accepted it as normal and didn't even notice that I came up to them and started talking with them. I was so surprised at that because usually people are weirded out and or give you a nasty grin or mean look. The question that I asked right in the middle of their conversation was what is for lunch today do you guys know? My helper was watching me from a distance and it was tommy nguyen. Then the girl kinda looked at me funny and then the guy told me what it was then kept on going on with the conversation. It is very interesting that they did not yell, and or be rude to me they were pretty nice and didn't really pay much attention to
