This research used 13 Nigerian immigrants were engaged. Information was collected by photography and focus group conferences at a church. Photo voice procedure and Leininger’s 4 stages of qualitative investigation were used to explore photographs, field transcripts, and focus group records.

A short-lived demographic survey was done by all contestants at this time. Both focus group meetings were record by audio and copied verbatim. Healthy refreshments were provided at all meetings, and contributors were allowed to keep the digital camera to reward them for their time.
Participants designated four pictures that greatest correctly revealed their observations of what is unhealthy and what is healthy, and sent these photos by email to the primary researcher. The debate through each focus group was eased by the authors using a semi designed dialogue guide. Investigators also discovered with the applicants what prepared a food or movement healthy or unhealthy, whether there were methods to progress the healthiness of the nutrition. Flexible interrogations and reviews were also used to aid applicants precise their thoughts, attitudes, moods, and opinions about healthy and unhealthy eating and activity in the US.
