The applicant decided to further pursue her Master’s degree specializing in the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) at Nova Southeastern University for the following reasons. Becoming a FNP as the primary health care provider is the applicant’s dream because she truly enjoys working with patients and wants to advocate them with the knowledge and skills that she has learned and will learn at Nova Southeastern University. Besides enjoying working with the patients, the increased employment opportunity and highly respected profession of being a FNP are other reasons why the applicant chose this track for her Master’s degree in nursing.
