JP, a 54 year old male had a chief complaint of “right back pan and I have blood in urine, sometimes difficulty passing urine. This subjective data indicates that the onset occurred on Thursday. The onset of pain, bloody urine, and difficulty passing urine are factors that were reported by the patient. According to Watkins (2010), inflammation as indicated by redness, swelling, pain and heat from the male reproductive organs is important data that require further investigation. The ROS reveals that JP did not have any discharge, lesions, and is sexual active in a monogamous relationship with his wife. He does not have a history of STI. With this, the FNP is ready to perform an examination. His results indicate no lesions and discharge. Other areas of interest include prostate size, diabetes, kidneys stones, and other chronic health care conditions (den Heijer, C., van Dongen, Donker, & Stobberingh, 2012). JP’s childhood and adulthood illnesses are not presented. His family history consists of circulatory health care conditions with unknown paternal history. As a FNP, it is necessary to synthesize the data for formulating differential diagnosis. …show more content…
