Prime activities of the fmcg industry are selling, marketing, financing, purchasing etc, industry is engaged in other activities also like operations, supply chain management, production management and general management. Effectively managing supply chain matters a lot for the companies as in this is a tough competition they need to bring innovation in their supply chain so as to remain in the competition for this they have to work with complex distribution networks with small packaging styles, dealing with counterfeit goods, infrastructure, complex taxation etc (K, 2014). It will be including managing logistics, in developing countries it becomes even more difficult because there are some basic hurdles which makes the working of these companies difficult like rail,road,airways and waterways connectivity, the awareness among the people, literacy rate, standard of living of people, purchasing power of people etc. counterfeit goods can be harmful for the image of brand as well as companies because if a particular product looks similar like a product offered by a big company and if that product is below the expectations of people then it might happen that people might not accept the original product , pricing does have an important effect on buying behavior of the consumer as it is seen that the branded product is more expensive than the non branded so people tend to buy less costly one, the companies
