Having the chance to apply for the FM Global scholarship is an honor, and I am fortunate enough to have a father working for this company. As my undergraduate career comes to a close, having the FM Global scholarship would help finish out my program of study with little to no financial turbulence. My goal to earn a degree in engineering has been supported by both my peers and parents. To earn this scholarship would be indicative of the significant progress I have made in my personal and academic life. Any amount of money awarded towards my tuition would help me reach my goal, which would assure me that my aspiration to become a practicing engineer is definitely achievable. Coming into college, I admit that my grades were less than admirable.
