The flu virus can be prevented through the flu shot. Some people may feel lousy after the flu shot because their immune system is preparing to recognize that virus and destroy it. The flu vaccine decreases the chances of one to get sick, as well as the duration of the sickness. There is more cases in the winter and fall since people tend to stay indoors more often, hence if one person gets it, it is easily to spread it to someone else in that home. In addition, less vitamin D is produced in one’s body as a result of the sun being lower in the sky. Viruses have a tendency to live longer the lower the humidity. I have always had the flu shot throughout this time of year, so I don’t tend to catch the flu virus often; however if I do catch it,
