Floyd Mayweather Character Analysis

Boxing is a sport that separates the men from the boys; each match is nothing short of an extreme adventure. There is no one to rely on except one’s self. There are no teammates, if you’re having a “bad game” than you best dig deep because the only one who can bail you out is yourself. The adventure that is Floyd Mayweather Jr’s life is unique. The drama, the passion, the persona, it’s a spectacle that has to be watched by all. If you’re unfortunate enough to adventure into the ring and it’s Mayweather’s eyes your staring into, you best put your gloves up and get ready for a battle.

Year in Review

The Money Team, enough said. Mayweather earned the right to refer to himself and his entourage as “The Money Team” aka TMT. The 37 year old is 46-0 in the ring, 26 of those victories were by knockout. 46 fierce competitors stood across from Mayweather, hoping to gain instant stardom similar to the likes of Joe Frazier after he knocked out Muhammad Ali in, “The Fight of the Century.” Some have come close, but the end result has always been the same with the referee lifting up Mayweather’s arm in victory.

He has made a fortune from his own clothing brand TMT and boxing alone, he has no endorsement deals. He’s also joined forces with Justin Bieber and invested in “Shots,” an app specifically for sharing selfies taken around the world. He can often be found walking the streets carrying stacks of cash, throwing money every which way just because he can. He redefines the term ‘living large.’ Occasionally, the tabloids read of Mayweather betting an absurd amount of money on a sporting event, he supposedly bet $5.9 million on the Heat winning this years NBA
