There are quite a bit for similarities and differences between the story and movie of, “Flowers for Algernon”, the story version which is called, “Flowers for Algernon” and the movie version which is called, “Charlie”. One similarity in both the movie and story is Dr. Nemur. In the story he is mean and demanding, in the movie he is the exact same way, he was rude and only cared about himself. One difference that caught my attention was the setting. In the setting for the story it took place in an industrial area with a nearby laboratory while in the movie It took place in a dough factory and it was in an urban area. One difference between the story and movie was Miss Kinnian. In the story she never mentioned her having a dead husband
