1. The Florida Hospital and the Orlando Health websites contain intricate information and links that patients and visitors of all ages can benefit from. Both of these healthcare organizations attempt to specifically target the senior population of central Florida in different ways. In both websites, they offer access to different social media tools, such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Pinterest. Orlando Health, however, has two additional social media tools: LinkedIn and Google+. Although both websites have social media that its patients and visitors can benefit from, their location and form of promoting such tools vary from one another. Florida Hospital and Orlando Health could both improve their relationship and communication with seniors via social medial. In general, both should attempt to post at least weekly, articles that are geared toward seniors, whether it is to inform them of an event, to promote their specialty practice, or to keep them up to date with ways to get healthy and keep healthy. They can take lessons from the Facebook page of AARP, which is geared towards only senior citizens. In order to attract more senior individuals, for the posting of the articles, they should feature older individuals rather than younger adults to capture their attention more. As for topics, it would be ideal to promote healthy living for seniors by incorporating their grandchildren or other seniors from the community. For example, Florida Hospital and Orlando Healthy should promote a monthly meeting for seniors to meet and to discuss ways to keep healthy, how to take care of themselves, and to promote their social media and benefits of keeping connected online. Specifically, for Facebook, Orlando Health should post more informational articles in general and especially for older individuals when possible. As for Twitter, both Florida Hospital and Orlando Health need to improve their social presence in general for seniors. It seems as if they are reposting their sponsors’ tweets and posting about job
