Florida Bar Exam Case Study

In whole, the Florida Bar Exam actually comprises two examinations: the General Bar and the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE).

The General Bar, a bi-annual examination administered by the Florida Board of Bar Examiners covering both general and Florida law, cannot be attempted until graduating from an ABA-accredited college of law.

In contrast, the MPRE from the National Conference of Bar Examiners, is administered by the LSAC three times annually assess applicants’ knowledge and understanding of established standards related to a lawyer's professional conduct.
