RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
Bananas are not only fruits for eating but they can also be an alternative source in making the floor wax by using its peelings. Yes, floor wax made from banana peels. We are here to prove that banana peelings are not only for throwing away but are also useful for our homes.
Floor waxing is important part in maintaining the floors, to look presentable, shiny and especially to prolong the life of hardwood floors. But, if we think that commercial floor wax are expensive, it is then possible to mix raw wax crystals and kerosene with banana peels to create a substance for use in polishing floors. This banana floor wax will give a comparable shine to that of commercial products and oil in kerosene counteracts the banana peels stickiness to ensure a shiny floor.
