Flight 800, Pure Tragic

The odds of someone getting in an airplane crash and dying are one in eleven-million. The one plane crash that has been talked about the most the past 22 years is Flight 800 better known as “TWA Flight 800”. This was unluckily one of those one in eleven-millions. However, did the plane just crash? Or was it apart of something or someone´s plan. Was there really a missle that hit the midsection of the plane that caused it to explode. Or a short circuit that ignited a flame that caused a mixture of substances that blew up the plane. These are two of many theories on what really happened to TWA Flight 800. Some witnesses claim seeing a “Streak of light” hit the plane before it exploded, in fact two hundred fifty eight out of seven hundred thirty six eye witnesses claim seeing the mysterious streak of light hit the plane (Jim H.). This theory at first led the public the public to thinking that this was an act of terrorism however there is a U.S navy base right below where the plane exploded (Smith). Mysteriously there was absolutely zero missile debris that was brought up from the ocean when the plane was recovered (Newton 4). Investigators searched and searched for evidence of any explosive items but came up with none. This is very tricky because explosives would be the obvious reason why flight 800 exploded but no evidence means the blame can not be put on …show more content…
Again because the crash had no evidence to point to explosives the next thing up had to be a mechanical issue. Researchers believe it would highly be something with the fuel being low and causing a disruption because the pilots last word was “Look at that crazy low fuel indicator on tank 4” (Smith). Two minutes later the plane exploded. Investigators dug deeper for any other evidence but yet again came up empty. In the following year after flight 800 “The NTSB further provided fifteen more safety recommendations in their report related to the fuel tank and the wiring in airlines.” A lot of things point this to be the reason why TWA flight 800 exploded.
