No Hero is Without Flaws Every human has flaws, not one person is perfect, that also includes heros. There is not one hero that hasn't made any mistakes, it is just a part of life. In The Odyssey, Odysseus, the main character, is a hero with many, many flaws. Since he is a hero, it does not mean that he is perfect. In the book, The Odyssey, Odysseus proves to be a hero by tricking monsters and taking care of his men; but, he is not heroic because he allows his emotions to defeat him. Odysseus proves to be a hero by tricking monsters, like Polyphemus. When he and his crew go to the cyclops cave, Odysseus wants to go ahead and stab the monster when Polyphemus eats two of his crew men. But, his crew convince him to wait until in the morning
