Flatman's Tragic Figures: A Narrative Fiction

As the Flatman floated slowly, throughout the dark, mysterious night he came across the steel-blue ocean and began to see daylight. He swiveled his head around quickly, for he did not have much time. The Flatman barely found his cover, and so his panic began to climb. Since he could not stand the light, he searched for a grim shelter. The Flatman had to hurry because it was about as hot as a smelter. The Flatman flew backwards into the tree-covered plateau. He looked around the spring green leaves, for a bleak place to lie low. He found himself in a cavern, as dark as the sun was bright. He was struggling not to cry, but he tried with all his might.
Thus, the Flatman sat alone waiting for the black. He thought about his little friend, that never called him back. He debated about the problem, it took a lot of thought. The Flatman was confused because he knew he had missed his shot. Thinking he had done no wrong. For he was only playing along. He looked around the grotto, and heard the Earth’s vibrato. He thought about his life before and he was shaken to his core. The Flatman started to wonder, why he was always on his own. He simply could not ponder why the answer was unknown. He waited for the still, calm dark to help his spirit rise. He sat all by himself, in the blackness and the shade, when all his dreams and plans for life went off like a grenade.
