My Flag Football Team

On Monday, my boyfriend had a flag football game. In my opinion he is one of the best guys on his flag football team, because he played football most if this life. We arrived a little late to his game, because we had a test in our Sexual Health class. The team was not doing that well before we got there and they were happy when they saw Jaylan came. Their opponent team did not seem all that good, but Jaylan’s team was just a little jumpy about the game. When Jaylan got it the game, he showed out. He out jump two 6 feet guys to block the pass and got an interception that turned into a touchdown to put them back in the game. The team was hype and excited about his interception and was glad that he was able to make the game. They ended up winning …show more content…
I got the interview, because I kept calling them about the openings for a pharmacy technician position. When I graduate I plan to take a year off and retake/ take some classes for PA school and PT school. I plan to take the GRE as well. While I am doing that, I need to have a good job that will help me pay for the bills I have to pay for that year. I feel like that I would enjoy pharmacy technician job, well I am waiting to apply to PA and/or PT school. Unfortunately, they didn’t have any opening for that position, but a good way to get my foot in the door is to work their part time. Since they had some openings for part time position I took the opportunity. If they give me the job they can see how I work and I can work my way up to that pharmacy technician position, when it opens up. Walgreens have their own classes you can take to be certified to become a pharmacy technician also. The interview went very well and the manager loved some of my answer I gave to some of his question he asked. He said he will call me soon as tonight or this weekend to let me know if I got the job and come in to take a drug test. Later that night, I got a call that I GOT THE JOB at Walgreens and to come in tomorrow to take a drug test. I was happy that I got the job and that I was working toward my goal that I have for next …show more content…
I went to Walgreens to pick up my paper work to get my drug test done before class. The drug clinic that you take your drug tests at was located by the ECU proctor testing center. On my way to the drug clinic, I was hoping that there was not a lot of people there, because I wanted to make sure that I made it to class on time for my quiz. When I got there, thank God there was no one there and it only took me 10 minutes to do the drug test. I was able to make it to my class an hour early.
The quiz was based on the homework we went over in class on Tuesday. On the quiz we had to identify the rate and rhythm of the heartbeat by using our EKG paper, see if the EKG have any P waves in order to find out the PR interval. After we figure out if there is a QRS interval we have to determine the rhythm interpretation. The quiz was not that hard, but there were two of the questions that were really tricky, because they looked very similar. Overall, I feel like I passed the

I had just entered my junior year in high school and was back to playing football, my grades were good so far and my A.D.D. medication was helping me a lot. Zach and I had just arrived at the union school for a junior varsity game against Oceanside high school, we geared up and got ready for the game. I started the game at quarterback and the game wasn't going well for us, which didn't come as a surprise because jv games are never enjoyable. I took the snap and rolled out to the left side of the field, no one was open so I tucked the ball under my arm and started to run up field, I had room to move, suddenly a linebacker running at me from my side started to shorten up his steps and set himself for a tackle, he tackled low but I…

In sixth grade, I wanted nothing more than to make Lusher’s middle school flag football team. I had dreamed of being on the team from the very first day I heard about it; all of my friends were trying out with me; and we had grand plans for a year of non-contact, semi-athletic exertion ahead of us. Having been anxiously awaiting the lunch period when the team roster would be revealed, I was thusly dismayed, disappointed, and disheartened when my name was not one of the eighteen posted on the PE office door. My mother, in all her eternal wisdom, saw a way out of the pit of despair I had sunk into: Lusher was starting an Academic Games team, and she thought I might enjoy playing. I was more than somewhat hesitant; she was more than somewhat…

Everyone knows that football players enjoy playing football, but what most people do not know is the reasons why. A football team is like a family you have when you are away from your family. For my essay I will talk about my family, the James Madison Football team as well as our values and beliefs that shapes the culture of this organization .The football team here at James Madison University has been built on a rich tradition of excellence and has a culture like no other.…

I love the sport of football and I always will. There is no doubt in my mind that this sport is the best one in the world. There are people though that do think otherwise. It does bother that some people don’t like sports and especially when it’s about football. Football requires a lot of attitude, discipline and the right state of mind, not everybody can go through it, it’s tough, it is tiring, but at the end it still gives me feelings that I can’t express, the victory, knowing that those practices under the hot sun were worth it, you don’t play for yourself, you play for your brothers on that field, hot or cold, raining or snowing, you give your best for them because they try the best for you.…
