Introduction
Family: The Dynamic Definition The definition of family is rapidly changing because of how every world culture decides to display their family norms. The vague definition of family are two or more people who consider themselves related by blood, marriage, or adoption. In most of a modern western world, family has been considered to be a Nuclear family, having a husband, wife, and children all in one household. There is, however, one talked about change currently undergoing the family. The central idea that two parents need to be opposite sexes to have a family, is no longer existent. In society having couples that are the same-sex raising children is starting to become a new family norm. Society is starting to accept that families include parents who are the same gender. That is a clear example of how this institution has altered the impact it has in our society. One other example would be the gender roles that are being switched between men and women. In a 2012 Pew Research Analysis, 69% of new graduates had borrowed more than twice that of college graduates nearly 20 years ago (Fry,2014). It goes to show how much the cost of things has increased over the past few decades. Which will eventually effect the economic status of most families in a negative way. Another concern happening in society deals with the advancement of technology. If technology continues to steadily advance and eventually taking the place of workers. What would happen to the economy and the unemployment rate? Unfortunately, when something drastically happens in the economy there are certain reprecautions that will need to take place in order to improve the overall situation.
