Those are our senses, but are there truly just five senses? Or could there be a sixth sense as well? A sense that certain people possess that makes them able to predict events and situations before they occur?

What possible explanation could there be? The only viable and available interpretation is that this man possessed a sixth sense. That he had a sense that enabled him to foresee events before they happened.
Our five senses can be thought of as radars, feeding us information about the world around us. They provide us with knowledge of our surroundings and each other. But what about this sixth sense? What about this sense that provides us with additional information; about the future? The sixth sense could also be described as a radar – invisible yet powerful and all seeing. Should it not be available to us all? Should every person not be able to experience it, without exception?
You, my dear reader, should be able to enjoy the sixth sense; the sixth radar. For some people the radar is inherent in them; that is to say they are born with the ability. However that does not mean that if you were not born with the gift that you will never have it.
We train our senses all throughout our lives. We teach ourselves to recognize certain smells and sounds, and to taste the flavor of our food.
