Fitness Components Paper

The fitness components that I targeted in my fitness programme were Cardiovascular fitness, Speed, Muscular Strength, and hand-eye coordination. Cardiovascular was targeted because it is important in basketball to be able to have the ability to play a full game of basketball without having breathing troubles. Speed is also important because you need to be able to handle sprinting up and down the court. Muscular Endurance is also important because you need to be able to handle running a lot whilst being able to use your legs and arms to shoot and pass. Muscular strength is also vital for basketball because you need strength in the muscles of your arms and legs to shoot, pass, and dribble. Hand-eye coordination is also needed for almost everything
