After using the Fitbit app for seven days, I decided it is definitely an app I will continue to use. I love the wide range of features it has that track steps, count calories, record workouts, show heartrate, count the amount of steps climbed, track sleep, count the miles walked and Bluetooth connects to my phone to use timers and show phone calls. The app was very easy to use and a great motivator for me to exercise and eat healthy every day. One of my favorite features of the app was the step counter. I found it very interesting to see how far I walk on an average day, and it motivated me to exercise or walk in order to reach my step goal of 10,000 steps. I liked going on runs and seeing my time compared to my time of other days. I also enjoyed the feature of recording what I ate because it made me aware of what I’m actually eating. It made me want to eat …show more content…
I liked that it showed the time because it was like wearing a watch with multiple features. Although, I wish the Fitbit itself had a longer battery life because I find it a pain to charge it nearly every other day. I also wish it was more accurate with calculating steps while working out. I think the Fitbit struggles with recording workouts when I was doing exercises, such as, the elliptical or high intensity things due the unique arm movement. The app also took a lot of time to connect to my Fitbit, which was frustrating at times. I really enjoyed the feature of the app always being Bluetooth connected to my Fitbit because then I could view the details of my workout or sleep on my phone. I liked how my wrist would vibrate and show the name of the person when I was getting a phone call and that I could set alarms and use the stop watch on my Fitbit as well. I am very impressed in this app and will definitely continue to use it in the future because it helps me live a healthier lifestyle by motivating me to work out and eat

How phones effect your everyday life Rough Draft For many of us, myself included, our cell phone screens are the last thing we check before we go to bed at night and the first thing we look in the morning. I see people texting and driving and almost every day I am behind someone at a red light who is looking down when the light turn greens. When you eat out, it is completely normal to see patron's cell phones at the table by their beverage. Also normal to see them checking their device during the duration of their dining experience. You almost never see children (even toddlers) sitting at the table without a tablet or phone as they play a game or watch a show or movie.…
