Did we have no where to fish in the first place? No, we have just been bass fishing at our pond for so long we all decided to try to find another one to fish at, and Sabine Coal Mine was a great place. For one, all the ponds there were stocked with bass from top to bottom. Second these ponds were so transparent that you could see right through them where the fish were at. The risks of getting caught were that you can get your fishing license revoked, and you can get prosecuted if you get caugh. Also they have workers that make sure everything's running smoothly checking the

We all knew the risk in going to one of these ponds, but we were willing to take that risk to catch a trophy bass. We started out by each of us only getting one of our ten thousand poles it seemed like we had, and we picked only certain baits would for sure catch us one. We started walking through my pasture into the woods behind my house so we could get to the fence that separate our land for the coal mine land. The whole trip my phone was running low on battery from my girlfriend Audrey blowing it up, so I really hope we don't get caught because I wouldn't have a way of getting a hold of anyone. Once we finally got to the fence I decided to be the first one over, so I quickly jumped over it easily, so I figured it would be easy for my friends. Right? Wrong!! They both fell over, but it was worth it because what stood in front of us was clear blue water read for us to cast out poles into it. About an hour of fishing went by then Logan started to complain that he was

Inner Boston Harbor's Thompson Island is a gem of an easy access spot if you're looking for fishing the flats for striped bass or deeper and structured-waters on the same plus bluefish. Access is good: kayak fishermen can use the little-more-than-a-mile-from-the-island hand-carry at City Point, ditto the ramp at Malibu Beach, Neponset for powerboaters with trailers with four-wheel drive. In addition to flats fishing on the island's back side, Thompson holds within its contours two tidal marshes and a large sandbar and bunker that connect the island to Squantum's Squaw Rocks mussel beds at low tide, themselves a good bait source. And because most anglers prefer Boston harbor's outer islands, the Brewsters and so on, or the Faun Bar off Deer…

Finding the best bait for trout fishing in your fresh water adventures can leave most anglers puzzled especially when first starting out with their trout fishing experience. The fishing angler can choose from using an artificial lure that represents some type of food in the water sources to choosing live bait such as minnows or the good old fashion trout worm. As far as choosing the best bait for your fishing I tend to go towards the worm. When using a worm I do not use the regular, small trout worm but a nice big night crawler. I have always gotten my best results with using this type of worm.…
