A water tank flows water through ceramic pipes to fountains found in the center of each halve there are also two trees in the middle. There is a path dividing the halves going from the East wing to the South wing this path is outlined by intricately cut box hedges cut by the most skilled gardeners. A plot of land is used for growing plants, a trellis holds up espalier fruit trees and a pergola for draping grape vines and a small grove of fig trees. A vegetable garden is there as well with it’s own water supply, this garden grows medical plants as well such as catmint for repelling snakes, southernwood for treating snake bites, self heal acting as antiseptic, christmas rose for mental disorders and day lily for poulticies.
