Last year, while vacationing in Ghana, West Africa, I visited a small town that highlighted my perceptive in life. Although the natives were facing challenges and hardships, they maintained a society free from serious internal conflict and continue to develop their considerable natural, human, and cultural resources. These natives lay more emphasis on being hospitable to everyone in the society, practicing good manners in every setting as well as respect for everyone. There I realized these are the values I am looking for in a college aside from an academically sound institution.
The key factors that attracted me to Baylor were its holistic core values and a campus culture that encourages diversity, peace, and open-mindedness. This is a vivid

To me, a perfect person is a person who is open to differences between people, races, and cultures. In addition, I am a person who takes a stand for my actions and aspires to make everyone around me feel comfortable. I believe that I display these unique characteristics on a daily basis. As a first year student, an engaging environment will create a sense of belonging greatly enhance the institutional commitment.

At Baylor, I will contribute to the need for diversity by spreading my culture to help diversify through the educational environment. My passion and love of science have enabled me in the way I construct my life and the people around me. Moreover, the range of my involvement in various teams and community activities does give credence to my claim of having the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and interests.
Last Summer my parents and I took an unofficial tour of the Baylor campus. I was mesmerized by its nationally recognized arboretum and beautiful campus. This journey gave me the chance to see the surroundings and faculty offices. Moreover, my overwhelming impression was that of being somewhere important where things of consequence happen.
