This is not my first online course. During high school, I utilized the online college courses available to me. This course compared well to the other courses I have taken. The expectations were not unrealistic and the course was fun to be a part of.
2) What did you like about the course? What, specifically, did you dislike about the course? I liked the pieces of literature we read throughout the course. There were many different types and I did not feel any of them were too abstract to understand. While some of them definitely took more time to understand than others, they were still good stories. I also felt the variety of stories was great. Sometimes I think teachers can become bias without even noticing it and choose only stories they like, but I did not notice that in this course. What would you suggest to future students to prepare for the course?
When speaking with future students, I would stress to them that they need to do all of the readings. I know it is common for students to slack and attempt quizzes and writings without reading the literature, but that is just not possible. Another tip I would have is to make sure you are not waiting until last minute to work on the class. To prepare for the course, I would suggest students get the required book early to be able to skim through it and prepare for the course.
