The First Lady of the United States, is the title given to those who are the wife of the current President of the United States. The title has never been officially defined, but the First Lady’s role is not an elected one and carries only ceremonial duties. She is considered to be the first and utmost, hostess of the White House. The First Lady is supposed to organize and attend official ceremonies of state along with, or in place of, the president. Over the years the role of First Lady has changed drastically. Nowadays, the First Lady is known to politically and socially active in many events.
