Later on in the novel Jack talks about the beast that they should hunt the beast down. Ralph starts to tell Jack that his hunter are not good enough, Jack starts to get mad and then he turns around to his hunters and Jack starts saying “He’s not a hunter. He’d never have got us meat”(126). Hobbes would agree with what Jack is saying and that he should be in charge instead of Ralph. Also Hobbes would say that Jack has a powerful leadership then Ralph. decides to tell everyone to take a vote “ who thinks Ralph oughtn’t to be chief”(127). No one raise there hands up since they are afraid of Jack and they rather have Ralph since he is more like a kind person. And they know that Ralph won’t make them do as much as Jack does. So then Jack starts to get upset and then he leaves. Hobbes would have actually said that yes vote for Jack that he knows what he is doing that and that he should be the leader. It was also clearly that Hobbes want Jack to the leader since he has more as a mean attitude and he was mean to the boy’s that were in the island and whatever Jack would say they would do it since they're afraid of Jack cause they know what Jack would do to them. And also since he would be the only one that would go look for food of them. Even though later on the kids were going on Jack’s side since he would give them meat and Jack told them that they will have fun with him.
