Now that I have explained what I took away from the film, I will talk about what I felt while I was watching the film. At first I felt special in a way because Naia was found in a cenote in the State of Yucatan in Mexico, which is a state I've traveled to and even swam in cenotes there. So when they showed the skeleton in the film I thought it was beautiful but also frightening because I could have swam in a cenote where there could've been an unexplored section of it that could have held some fossils of humans which is very highly unlikely but it was still a thought that ran through my head. Also hearing about all the other animal fossils like the giant sloth and mammoth was shocking but cool because I would have never imagined animals like those being found in cenotes. Finally there was also the two infants that were discussed at the end of the film which was pretty interesting since those babies were the ancestors of all native americans which sounds insane but is still awesome. In conclusion, "First Face of America" gives us an exciting peek into the ancient history of the Americas by telling us about Naia, a 12,000-year-old skeleton found in an underwater cave in
