Your first words, first steps, first giggle and a bunch of other firsts. They say time goes by quickly when you have children, hopefully with you time will not be too fast. Writing this letter is difficult for me since in my life now you don't exist, but hopefully in the future similar situations will happen in your life. This letter will be written about different parts of your life and the thoughts I had throughout your childhood.
The stage of life that I was in when I had you was my late 20s, meaning I was already in adulthood your father was as well. When your father and I had you; we didn’t plan your birth, but most people can never plan for children. When we found out about your birth trust me when I say we were happy to know you existed even though, you were not planned. As a baby you were very normal I want to say I was scared every step of the way since you were my first child. You decided to attend college for health and medicine even though you didn’t know what major you wanted to study. I was glad you decided to go to college you choosing your major was something I didn’t care for so since I changed my major multiple times I knew you probably would too. This letter is only little clips of how I hope your life will be by the time you get out of high school. The joy we got from the little things to the big accomplishments you achieved during infancy to adulthood never changed throughout our life. I hope you know that I love you, and I am so glad and blessed that God let you in my

I didn't realize that playing and teaching these young adolescent minds would soon be the major I would be studying. Although our problem is about colleges, we don’t want students to be confused on what to do in life after college. We would get freshmen and sophomores focused on careers so as juniors they can find a college to match their career. Students would use the information we give them to fill out a worksheet for both careers and colleges to save for later use. We recognized that some students may not be interested in doing this so we decided to schedule an assembly in February where current seniors and former alumni give their experiences, stories, and regrets while preparing and applying to college. We are hoping that this will encourage students to do the worksheets and dedicate more time to preparing for…

“I know applying to colleges is the last thing you want to do right now, but you might change your mind,” a trusted friend told me. It was December of my senior year of high school, and college application deadlines were approaching quickly. I was recovering from a major illness at the time, and wasn’t ready to think about college. My plan was to spend a year living at home and working before I pursued higher education. In the following months, my recovery progressed rapidly.…

Scared, excited, nervous were the feelings, which swirled around inside my stomach as I walked what seemed to be miles of hallway inside Dr. Jones’s office. He had just told me that I was pregnant. Scared but not scared like I just watched my first horror movie with the lights off scared, but scared because I had never had a baby before. I was excited because deep down I knew, this was the best thing that would ever have happen to me. I was nervous because I didn’t think I was ready to me become a mother.…

Honesty, to me, is one of the most important attributes of a person, so I will begin with two very honest statements. The first being, I composed this essay and it reflects my ideas as expressed in my own words and thus reflects my writing ability. The second truth is as follows: for most of my life, pharmacy was not the career I thought I would find my passion in or that SDSU was where I would find a second home. From middle school through most of high school I was set on attending the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities and becoming a gopher.…
