To be able to fully perceive the benefits of the legal drinking age of 21, one must first understand why the law itself is effective. The drinking age has proved to lower the rates of violent behavior, which is one of the many benefits that come from it. According to research, the drinking age of 21 is a reasonable and effective law because it considers certain factors among youth such as risk taking, maturity lifestyles, and the risk of accidents.
