Firoozeh Dumas Kindness

Kindness is something that most people remember. Were you treated with kindness or were you neglected. In the story With A Little Help From My Friends Dumas has traveled a long trip to America. In the story the kindness that was shown from the Americans affected Dumas and her family as they lived in California.

In the story Dumas remembers how kind people were in America. The Author, Firoozeh Dumas writes on page 92, “ We remember the kindness more than ever, knowing that our relatives who immigrated to this country after the Iranian Revolution did not encounter the same America.” The kindness that was shown affected Dumas because it allowed her to live a normal life while she was in America. She was able to be a normal kid and have friends.
