The Firo- B assessment is intended to assist participants recognize their communication style and their behavior. The Firo- B focuses on how you behave towards other and how others behave towards you(Burton, S. A., & Goggin, W. C.,1985), touching on interpersonal needs such as inclusion, control, and affection. Inclusion is described as a measure of peoples social orientation. Control is viewed as tendencies of making decisions and taking responsibility with others. Lastly affection focuses on ones need for love and intimate relationships. The structure consist of 6 different scores including Expressed Inclusion (EI), Wanted Inclusion (WI), Expressed Control (EC), Wanted Control(WC), Expressed Affection (EA) and Wanted Affection (WA)(
