As I slumbered back watching Romeo’s fan Spin like a propeller on a airplane flying through the air. Then as I glanced down at Romeo’s t.v. Colton says out of nowhere “Romeo, where are your fireworks?” No, I’m not showing you my fireworks.” But that’s when I commented on Colton’s question “come on Romeo let’s do it, we have nothing to do.” Romeo, sitting in silence, was wondering if he should get out his fireworks. “I don’t know guys,” said Romeo, “I don’t want to get in trouble.” Colton quickly begged, “Please get out the fireworks Romeo!” As I sit on Romeo’s soft but slightly rough bed, watching him and Colton debate on the firework situation, I say to Romeo, “Romeo, Colton’s right, we have nothing to do and it will be fun.” Romeo shakes his head in a deciding manner, hoping that my comment was enough to convince him, Romeo replies “yes.” “Yay!” cheers Colton in excitement. Romeo gets out his fireworks looking like a scared, worried cat getting chased by a dog. Colton and I am looking through his bag filled with varieties of different kind of fireworks Romeo shouts …show more content…
I was gonna get grounded for years, get my phone taken away, everything! The cops ask Romeo and I a series of questions involving the loud pop and Romeo and I told them the truth and said that we lit of a firework and ran. Then that an old creepy man came out yelling at us and chasing after us. “Where is the other boy, the man said that there were three of you?” asked one of the cops, “I don’t know, he ran the other direction” I replied. As time passed they took Romeo and I to the police station and had our mom’s come get us. I got ground for three months, got my phone, and games taken away, and had to sleep upstairs. The cluster of people began to meet at the campfire site. The orange flames illuminated the campfire pit; they swayed rapidly as if they were performing a celebration dance. This moment is a turning point in Romeo’s character because the audience expects him to say no to any man’s request to lie beside his wife, yet he did the opposite and immediately promises to fulfill his request, showing his maturity and the development of his character. Regardless of the fact Paris and Romeo scarcely interacted throughout the play, Shakespeare subtly uses Paris to show the audience how things would be different if Romeo acts more like him. For instance, would Juliet like Romeo more if he had Paris’…

To behave impulsively is to act upon or to be swayed by emotions rather than by reason. Since uncontrolled, passionate emotions vs. rational thought is a dominant theme in Romeo and Juliet, there are certainly many instances in which both Romeo and Juliet act impulsively. One example of Romeo acting impulsively can be seen when he allows himself to be swayed into crashing the Capulets' ball with Benvolio. Romeo is very hesitant to go, even believing that it is unwise and will lead to danger. He even relays a dream he had that he considers to be prophetic, and the dream reveals that the "night's revels" will lead to some horrible "consequence," even to his own "untimely death" (I.iv.114-18).…

Behind The Violence In a world where weapons and violence are always used to solve out issues, have we ever took a moment to wonder, are we stopping our problems, or just creating more? The two adolescents, Romeo and Juliet, fall deep in love, although they are kin of two rivaling families. The decision that I found to be particularly hasty was Romeo's decision to commit suicide. I believe that this decision was impulsive and fueled by Romeo's emotions. It lead to not only his death but his lover Juliet as well. If Romeo had been more thoughtful instead of letting his grief and desperate thoughts overwhelm him, he could of created a different ending for the play, one not as tragic. Before Romeo made such a decision, he had been waiting for Friar Lawrence in Mantua to send him news of the uplifting sorts when Balthazar had told him that Juliet had died.…
