Firearms vs without firearms We can protect ourselves better with guns so much better than any other weapons, but we must know how to use them properly and correctly or it would hurt us instead of protecting us. Firearms can protect us so much better if we compare them with knives, nun chucks, machetes and spears. It takes about approximately three seconds for us to get the handgun out to fire if anything bad is going to happen. Most of us do not have the same concept about guns, and a lot of people do not like to use guns as a protection for themselves. Sometimes life and death situation can happen in a matter of a second, and it is a gun that will decide if we get to live or not. Gun is not only make me feel safe, but also secure. It increases the chance of getting out alive in some burglar situation is higher than normal when I have a gun. There are a lot of robberies around our city and they are always carrying guns with them. It makes me feel safer when I know I have a gun right next to me. I can make myself a lot more dangerous to a robber if he is going to rob me, and he will not think about trying because he knows that he will put his life in danger. A little of cautious is something we always need to protect ourselves from the bad guys. A lot of gun users have something in common, they like to shoot guns and to own as much guns as they could. I like guns a lot and I love it, and it is something that I can count on to protect myself when there is not any one around to call for help if bad things are going to happen. Guns make me feel relaxed when I am going to the range to practice and have some funs with my friends. I love to shoot guns because it makes me feel hype, and it makes me feel good because of the adrenaline that runs through my body when I am shooting. The joy, relaxation, the heat and the smell of the bullet make me feel happy when I am shooting a gun. Although we can protect ourselves by using knives, martial arts, and other kind of weapons, but it does not seem to be that effective against gun users. Our life is in danger when we have to be in that situation. It takes longer distance, the risk of our life, we have to find a spot to cover ourselves, however running away from a gun user will not be that easy. On the other hand, it will be so much harder to protect ourselves without a gun. A lot of people do not like firearms because they do not want to hurt other people or they are afraid of the guns might go off on its own. They do not enjoy having a gun that much like other people, because every one of us has a different kind of interest. Unlike gun users, other people like to do other things instead of going to the range or shoot some guns. Some people do not like gun because they do not like how heavy it is or how they have to clean it after they use it. It takes a lot of time to clean every part of a gun after we use it and it is really frustrating to most people. Ammo also costs a lot and a lot of us cannot afford to buy them. My house got broke in once and the police took thirty minutes to come after I called them. I cannot always depend on them. As I stood there during that moment hopelessly watching the robber took our money that my family worked so hard for and we had to give up things they want for them to leave my family alone. I wish I
