Firearms Imagine an unloaded gun laying on a table, it has no harm. A person picks up the unloaded gun, holding it in their dominant hand, resting their index finger on the trigger, its pulled. What happens? Nothing. Today’s society perceives firearms as dangerous killing machines, although they are tools used differently in daily life. Major factors in this issue include their intended use through history, the laws and safety regulations they have, and the people who use them. In the United states, the 2nd Amendment states, “being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.” (Bill of Rights 2017.).
