Nowadays one of the most controversial topics regards whether college students should have the legal right to have and keep fire weapons inside the institution's property. Given the fact that many violent and criminals activities increased immensely, pro-gun activist have suggested that both the students and teachers should have the right to carry and use concealed weapons to protect their own and others in case of a crime or massive attack. Even though proponents of legalization guns on campuses argue it can protect us, guns should not be legalized because it will increase violence on campuses, jeopardize freedom of expression, and it will make professors to feel threatened.
If such situation was allowed and legalized, the reality would not be as described by the proponents of guns possession. In contrary, the allowance of such weapon would increase the chance of potential misuse.
