History of fire services
The history of fire dates way back to the beginning of dawn. Started from discovering fire, to fires breaking out and groups of people gathering together to put it out, and to the EMS services that we have today. Fire services have came a long way to get where we are now.
The first evidence of man's ability to harness fire dates back to about 200,000-400,000 years ago. When we were able to harness fire it led to many changes and advances of man and society. Man, used fire for cooking, heat, and to make tools. Fire then became used as weapons of war in ancient times.
