Well Edited Essay: The Fiery Creature I would like to met something that is fiery as the lava that pours through its’ blackened body .Meeting a dragon has been a dream of mine since I can remember. The idea of dragons has been around since the beginning of time, yet not a single person has been able to show actual proof that a dragon exists. They are considered the most popular and longest lasting mythological creature to date. The thought of them was first written down by the ancient Greeks and Sumerians. At the beginning of their timeline they were considered a unique and rare creature, that guarded treasure and protected the land if they were treated fairly. That changed whenever Christianity became the dominant religion in Western …show more content…
There are ice dragons, sea dragons , fire dragons and so many more. Just like humans; dragons can be nomadic, and others are very territorial. Some are kind and generous , while others are violent and aggressive. Meeting an ice dragon would send chills down my back. Although meeting a fire dragon would leave me with a burning passion to find all the dragons I can. Just like a person each dragon is unique in where it came from, what type it is and it's personality. There are three classification of dragons : Wyrm, Wyvern and Drake. Wyrm are always long and serpentine with wings and legs, or without depending on the time period. Wyvern are medium to large. They have wings and only hind legs. They are shown to be the evil ones in movies and video games. The last type is a Drake , these are the most common ones that you will find . They range from small to extremely large . They have wings and all four legs. They sometimes will have magic powers. the main difference between Drake dragons and Wyvern dragons are the size and the legs. There are six different types of wings that dragons have. There is feather wings, leaf-like wings, shallow wings,finned wings , tree-like wings and deep wings. Throughout time the images of dragons change and they will continue to change, eventually mecha- dragons will be the first thought whenever the word dragon is
