Finical Aid Observation

Attending college is everybody goal in life especially for the family of the persons who is going, yet nobody tell us what to expect for our first semester. For instance, my family didn’t tell me about how the food would be, the finical aid, and the phone service. Don’t being told of what to except when you’re a first time student is very frustrating, because when you find out about something you’re in shock mood at times when you are told information. Prairie View was not the first choice I had in schools. Originally I wanted to attend Louisiana State University, when I got accept I relies that the out of state fee was more than tuition fee itself. Since everybody in my family already graduated from Prairie View I decided to attend the University and keep the tradition going. Upon arriving my family gave me little details about what to expect, for one, the MSC food. The MSC food is not the best of food to eat. First the food is either burnt, to greasy, or even half cook. Now most of the time after eating the MSC food I would have to go to the restroom. I honestly thinks that they put laxative in the food as they cook it. Another thing I wish my family would have told me about is how slow Prairie View finical aid service can be. It’s really hard to get good services in certain spots on campus. Most of the time I’m either in my room or I would have to walk to another building to get good service connection for my phone. I can call somebody at least four times and they’ll say that they never got my called. Also signal is always dropping and when I do have signal retrieving data can be very long and slow. At first I thought I was the only that was experiencing this problem with bad phone service but when I talked to other people about the about it they were experiencing the same thing as
