Why Fine Arts is Helpful to Students In order to conduct fine arts at a school you first need to know what it is. The definition of fine arts is a visual and creative type of art that is conducted by many students. This is how I visualize what fine arts is. Many schools utilize fine arts. I think fine arts should be offered in every school. This type of art can be beneficial to all students. Fine arts is something that should be offered to every school, and people should persuade the schools that don’t offer fine arts to somehow begin to offer fine arts. In Birmingham, Alabama their is a school that offers fine arts from grade levels 7-12th. The school goes by ASFA which stands for Alabama School of Fine Arts. This is one of the main schools in Alabama that uses fine arts. To persuade the schools that don’t have fine arts I say that fine arts can be very beneficial to all students in all schools. I say this because when being in fine arts it could help you have better chances to earn scholarships to colleges. Also fine arts can help you in your career. All ASFA students that are in the 8th grade and 9th grade are required to take algebra classes. 9th grade students also must take geometry classes. Junior high students have to take physical education which is where the students take health and wellness classes. Health and wellness credits are 15 total of credits. For mathematics 4 total amount of credits for each grade level is counted as a credit. When actually participating in fine arts that is an automatic 1.5 amount of credits. When participating in fine arts it can really help get certificates, scholarships, and much more which you will need in the
