In addition to the show, audience had the chance to browse more than 40 pieces of mixed media art work in a gallery located in the lobby. “It’s nice to see the range of artistic talent these students have on and off stage,” said Tammy Callison. The first gala was also the last for Houston Smith, senior, who performed an acting duet and worked backstage during the show. “I’m amazed at how much has been done in a short period of time. I’m very proud of this show,” he said. Another senior Monique Gray auditioned for the gala, so she could perform one last time with her classmates. “When I’m singing with them, nothing else matters,” Gray said.
