Importance Of Skills And Tools

Register to read the introduction… To fulfill my professional goals I have to have traditional artistic skill, technical skill, and business skill. Being creative is a very crucial thing as an artist. Although in the 3D animation industry, most of the works are done by computers. So mastering the traditional skill is not enough. I have to be able to express my ideas with computers. I have to master the software needed to create the animation and keep updating myself with the new ones. Because sometimes different company use different software, and it is compulsory for me to follow the demand.
Right now I am confident enough with my technical skills, but I’m not sure if I am good enough in the traditional skill area. I still have to learn and understand more about the principles of animation while also improving my drawing skills. All my skills have been rated above the average by my instructors, but still I still think it is not enough to compete in the professional industry. What skills do you have now?
