The basis purpose of preparing financial statement is to convey to owners, creditors and general public about financial position of the enterprise. They are used as basis for decision by all those interested in the enterprise and the management may review the company progress to data and decide upon the course of action to be taken in future on the basis of information contained in the financial statement.

Financial analysis is the process of determining financial strengths and weakness of the company by establishing strategic relationship between the components of balance sheet and profit and losses statements and other operative data.
