Italy and the United States are not much different when it comes to figuring how to keep their financial spending in check. While the United States has been going through a small depression since 2010, we have been able to stay afloat financially and have begun to come out the other side. Italy on the other hand has just begun trying to come up with a solution to their financial hardship. This solution is called Atlante and is a “bank-rescue fund” that was created to try and bail out the Italian government from some of their debts (Broad Shoulders, 2016).
