What is Financial Aid?
Financial aid makes higher education possible for almost every student. Its purpose is to help you and your parent(s) pay for your college costs such as tuition, fees, room & board, books and supplies, etc. Financial aid is available from many sources such as the federal government, state higher education agencies, colleges/universities, businesses, private organizations, and individuals.

Types of Financial Aid
Financial aid is awarded to eligible students in the form of:

• Scholarships Scholarships are considered gift aid (FREE MONEY) and they do not have to be repaid. Some scholarships are awarded to students on a one-time basis, while others are awarded to students on a renewable basis. Renewable scholarships
