Mr. Cruise gave a very informative talk about how important financial aid is and how it can help students achieve goals that they thought they could not reach. Through financail aid, some students can get grants and scholarships to help pay for college. Since we, the students of swic, are curently enrolled and working towards a smaller goal in a massive clutter of goals, we are saving money by not jumping into a 4-year college immediately. He mentioned loans, which makes sense seeing as most college students take out loans; but, he warned us to make it the last thing that we do.
